Inclusive, innovative solutions aiding animal welfare and conservation – and beyond
Empowering Collaborative Partnerships (ECP) is an initiative that empowers collaborative partnerships for animal welfare and conservation – and beyond
Filling a critical gap, ECP takes an unusual and much-needed approach:
The Human Dimensions
ECP focusses on the people involved in animal welfare and conservation, empowering them and building capacity, empowering working partnerships – between individuals, between organisations – fuelling better collaboration to, together, achieve greater impacts to help animal welfare and threatened species.
Inclusive, Innovative, Cross-Sector, Multi-Background Collaborations
ECP empowers impactful, mutually-beneficial partnerships between parties from diverse backgrounds. Engaging across sectors, backgrounds, countries and cultures. Convening parties offering widely-varied contributions. Widening alliances, boosting outcomes. Equipping innovative, dynamic partnerships to address ever-changing conservation and animal welfare challenges.
ECP is enriched by partners from diverse backgrounds and harnesses a wealth of knowledge and experience from varied sectors and arenas, globally. Its Founder and Director is Dr Rosalind Napleton-King.
ECP not only empowers conservation and animal welfare effort, but also delivers highly-transferable leading expertise to fuel collaborative working to benefit wider arenas, globally.
Our collaborative cross-sector approach promotes our belief in a One Health concept which recognises the well-being of people, animals and ecosystems as interconnected. We believe that respect for animals and nature goes hand in hand with respect for one another – and underpins the intrinsically-linked health and well-being of people, animals and our planet.
