Outreach and Communication

Dr Rosalind Napleton-King is a passionate advocate for conservation and animal welfare. She is an experienced public speaker, enjoying communicating with people from all backgrounds and walks of life – from highest-level governmental situations to rural communities around the world, professional conferences, organisational and business scenarios, universities and schools. Rosalind is also an experienced broadcaster. She takes pride in delivering compelling messages that are accessible to each audience.

Delivering a compelling message is only part of communication, however. True communication involves speaking and listening. Rosalind’s outreach and advocacy for conservation and animal welfare is respectful, diplomatic, empathic and truly two-way, taking time to learn the context of each party that she is working with, in order to find apt ways of advocating for animals and engaging people. This enables her to be particularly successful in difficult circumstances where challenging societal situations are negatively impacting conservation and animal welfare. Through her specific expertise in the human dimensions of collaboration she is skilled at facilitating pathways to help influence attitudes and behaviours and has considerable experience of outreach and advocacy spanning parties from all sectors and backgrounds.
